UFC Live 6: Cruz vs Johnson, My Predictions

Dominick Cruz vs Demetrious Johnson
Dominick Cruz is the greatest Bantamweight fighter in the world. Johnson may be the fastest Bantamweight in the world but he's going to need that speed just to get close enough to be in Cruz's range and take jabs to the face. If he does get on the inside he's going to get knee tapped. Cruz is too good at utilizing leverage from his longer body at Bantamweight. It's going to be a long night for Johnson.
Pick: Dominick Cruz (Unanimous Decision)

Pat Barry vs Stefan Struve
I'm a fan of Struve; the guy has huge heart and a never say die mentality that has been displayed several times, whether on the ground covered in blood, or standing and swinging while biting down on his mouth piece. But thinking of this fight just makes me think of an axe coming down on a thin tree branch. The axe being Barry's leg, the branch being Struve's legs. Barry will leg kick Struve's lead leg about five times, then land a few punches and Struve will wilt in a way that resembles his fight with JDS.
Pick: Pat Barry (TKO)

Anthony Johnson vs Charlie Brenneman
First prediction: Johson will come in seven pounds overweight. Second prediction: Brenneman will survive barrages in the first round then grind Johnson down in the clinch over rounds two and three, with a few take downs thrown in there.
Pick: Charlie Brenneman (Unanimous Decision)

Matt Wiman vs Mac Danzig
A competitive fight with two guys with very similar skills and skill level. Wiman holds a fake win over Danzig when the referee thought Danzig was unconscious and stopped the fight. I see Wiman getting a hold of that neck again, but Danzig will get out of it and land some ground and pound. I see it being like that for three rounds, Danzig cutting off the cage, putting Wiman on the cage and taking him down, Wiman grabbing his neck, Danzig getting out then landing ground and pound.
Pick: Mac Danzig (Unanimous Decision)
